OUR "PERSONAL" SOLUTION TO THE SECURITY SITUATION IN GUYANA

Well well, after hearing about the possibility of foreign intervention into this crime situation in Guyana, we have decided to implement our "personal" security plan with foreign help of course. So all you blood thirsty, sick, demented cowards better take note.

They are "stripped" ooerr ahmm "lock and loaded" for action. Eeerrrrr...

IMAGES OF BARTICA MASSACRE

GDF patrol boat in the Essequibo River. The Joint Services attempted to post soldiers at all possible exit points for the escaping gunmen. However, if you are familiar with Bartica and the sourrounding terrain, you would know that this is almost impossible!

Bodies of the victims on a boat, as they were about to be transported to a nearby airstrip to be flown down to the Capital City.

The bodies being loaded into a boat.

A section of the Bartica stelling, where the gunmen took crew members off two boats docked at the stelling and then proceeded to place them face first on the wharf, shooting them at point blank range in their heads.

The Bartica Police Station where the gunmen clad in foreign camouflage and khaki type clothing, shot and killed Lance Corporal Zaheer Zakir, Constables Shane Fredericks and Ron Osborne. During the attack, Constable Mark Campbell was shot and injured in the upper left side and Constable Chester Benjamin was shot in both hands and right hip. (Info supplied by the Joint Services)

Police ranks along 1st Avenue Bartica as they try to secure the area where the attack occured.

The vehicle which was being driven by 38 year old Dexter Adrian of 1 mile Potaro, Bartica. The taxi driver was shot multiple times about his body.

The home of Gurudat Singh on 1st Avenue Bartica, this is one lucky man. Find out more in the following caption.

This is where the gunmen used a sledge hammer to break into Gurudat's home. Upon realizing that his home was under attack, he reportedly took his family of four into the ceiling via a trap door. As the gunmen barged into the upper flat of his home, they searched frantically for him and his family, unaware that they were in the ceiling. After a few minutes, they made off with several articles but thankfully Gurudat and his family were not added to their list of victims. Praise be to the Supreme One!

DE FIND ANOTHER ONE

Well what can PP592 say, however they come we will gladly accept. Because the bottom line is that a number of innocent lives will be saved. One of our informant who is usually reliable when he is not on the high wine, just told us that the Joint Services recovered the AK 47 Assault Rifle which went missing from its Camp Ayanganna Base in November 2008. Reports indicate that the weapon was located somwhere in the Berbice area. We say hats off to the Security Services, but at the same time there are still a number of outstanding weapons which are still to be recovered. Need i mention the 200 odd which were given to the PNC party in the 70's.

Anyway, this calls for a "shot" err sorry "drink"....

A FEW HANDBILLS CIRCULATING ON THE INTERNET

We here at propaganda press 592 might not necessarily agree with the contents of the bills, but we feel it is important that we highlight the spin off effects of the current crime situation in Guyana. We are however urging the individual(s) who created the bills to be more responsible, as this could further aggravate the situation in the country. PP592 would also like to inform you that our sources have linked the creation of the bills to a certain "clique" within a political party, which is hoping to create an intense atmosphere for its political leader so that the group can further score some political points in their efforts to topple the embattled head honcho.

BUXTON DOES NOT HAVE CRIMINALS, IT IS A PEACEFUL VILLAGE!

So we have been observing the ongoing debate on television stations over the past few days and nights about the situation in Buxton. We must definitely be getting ready for St. Peter, as it appear that our senses are failing us. We could remember a few years ago that a number of villagers from Buxton, through the PNC/R in the days of Hoyte and now Corbin lamented the state of the backlands as "the drainage and state of land was so poor that the villagers had given up on the land and that is why they were turning to crime". Now low and behold, when the military has embarked on an operation to clear the backlands of dense overgrowth, one man suddenly announces that he has over 2 million dollars in crops, another is saying that he makes 30,000 dollars a week from his cash crops. That boils down to 120,000 dollars montly (TAX FREE). Wow! We want to be farmers now.

Then there was a meeting yesterday, between the Minister of Agriculture and residents of Buxton on the situation in the backlands. A female jumps up and shouts "we na gat no criminals in Buxton, why we cyant go down dere (the backlands) to we farms" another man says "Buxtonians na thief from no one, we a wuk hard and we want go back to we land weh we have we crops ready for reap" and another says "if i had de power i would clear out the military from Buxton in 72 hours, we don't need the military here, we don't have no criminals here" this is a nice one "Buxton is a peaceful community why deh Police and Army always harassing we".

Well quick question. In which village did the Guyana Defense Force last encountered heavily armed gunmen and engaged in an intense firefight which resulted in the deaths of two gunmen err sorry (honest church going farmers) armed with an AK 47 and hundreds of rounds "worth 2,000 each" err sorry (armed with a fork and seeds to plant) in the backlands?

And their argument went further, one said "is only farming we have to turn to, as when we go looking for a job from the time deh hear is Buxton we from, that it. No Job!” We could remember just recently when the PNC/R argued that there were no jobs in Guyana, which is why these decent young men were turning to crime. Now it’s because they are from Buxton. Some Quick Questions: How did Buxton get such a bad reputation? Who was/is responsible for this phobia with Buxton? Why are people so skeptical to employ persons living in Buxton? (and finally) If Buxton is such a peaceful, loving, crime free village, how come so many Police/Soldiers/GUYSUCO workers/Kidnapped victims etc. died in the village over the past 5 years? Did they all commit suicide?

The fact is that not all Buxtonians are criminals or are linked to criminals, but there are quite a few villagers who provide an environment of support for the gunmen and in turn they are provided with assurances of not being harmed by the gang members and are provided with money and other articles from their murderous robberies.

It is also clear that this exercise to clear the backlands, is being met my stiff opposition despite the fact of a compensation desk being set up and assurances that after the exercise, Buxtonians will be allowed to return to the land. But now they will benefit from improved drainage and a farm to market access road which will not only assist the Joint Services to go after the criminals hiding out in the backlands, but also assist farmers to take their produce from farm to market in a more hassle free way. Now anyone who objects to this definitely in not on the side of good sense and has an agenda! We will get to the agenda in our next posting.

Famous Faces of Guyana...

YES OR NO! IT'S THAT SIMPLE BRO!

Jeez man, you mean to tell me that its only the PNC/R that has failed to recognize that criminals are using Buxton as a safe haven and the only way this has been made possible is the fact that the gang is receiving support from some villagers and maybe even some political leaders. Guyanese should in one voice demand the PNC/R act as a responsible party, especially since it has enjoyed a strong base of support from the village over the years. This in itself is enough reason for the party to play a meaningful role in ridding the village of criminal elements, or is it that the party is satisfied with the way things are? The question has to be asked! What has the PNC/R as a responsible political party done over the years to support the nation in its fight to overcome this new dimension of crime? Over to you Corbie...

CONGRESS PLACE OR CRIMINAL PLACE

We thought we have seen it all, but just as night follows day we were proven wrong. Could you believe a leader of the "PNC +R+One Guyana" would arrive at an area where the military has an ongoing "Operation" to root out gunmen who are embedded in the area, to discuss who threw kerosene in whose flour or rice. Are these people sane. We observed on a local television station, a man puporting to be the leader of the party one Robert "HO" Corbin marching along visiting the households, totally oblivious to the military personnel in the area. We must point out that it was this said area a few days ago, the military engaged in an intense firefight with gunmen, resulting in the deaths of two criminals. Hundreds of rounds of ammunition and an assault weapon were recovered from the bodies. We here at PP592 are wondering, is this man very brave or just plain stupid to parade around in such a volatile area. Or maybe he knows something we don't and was confident the remaining gunmen would not attack while he was visiting the village. Hmmm we wonder....

OUR PERSONAL PRAYER

God please give me patience with some of the political parties and media houses in Guyana which seem to be worshipping criminals. But God could you please hurry!

"CRIME NEWS"

We are still adjusting to the climate in the country, but somebody tell me quick what exactly is that "thing" on one HBTV Channel 9, Prime News. This is shocking, the presenter one Ms./Mrs. Johnson gave the impression that her newscast was actually a PR for the criminal gangs in the country. No wonder the law enforcement agencies are between a rock and a hard place in tackling the current crime rate in Guyana. Crime News, errr sorry Prime News please get your act together.

We Can and We Will

We Can and We Will Hello one and all, we have finally arrived minus our luggage of course. But nevertheless we are here, and we do not intend to leave until you get your act together GUYANA! We are sick of the attitude of some Guyanese as if they do not care about the future of this lovely nation. Behold, propaganda press intends to smoke all those wolves in sheep clothing out. Expose those hypocrites responsible for keeping this country shackled to the past. Anyway we will continue later my people, i have to run out on the road to buy a phone. GT&T or DIGICEL people?
